Thanks to the funders

We’re edging towards the end of the year and it’s time for some gratitude. There are lots of folks who deserve a shout out from Fundsorter - our early adopters, the sideline cheerleaders and our partners and kids who’ve definitely seen a bit less of us this year.

But we particularly want to thank the funders across Aotearoa who have helped us get this work underway. The Todd Foundation has been supporting its community partners by offering them a one-year trial of Fundsorter and many other funders across the motu have done the same - The Clare Foundation, Te Rourou, Biome Trust, Te Muka Rau and a whole bunch of others.

For a start-up working in this space, that early investment matters. It gives us capital to keep developing, credibility from trusted partners, and momentum in a resource-constrained sector.

More importantly, that generosity gives community organisations the opportunity to explore a new approach to funding without financial constraints.

Gifted subscriptions de-risk experimentation, give organisations a chance to safely play with AI tools, see what works, and provide the feedback that is shaping Fundsorter's development. This support is helping us build a tool designed with and for the sector - one that makes navigating the funding landscape more manageable and more equitable.

To funders already with us: ngā mihi nui. To those considering it - we'd welcome you on the waka. Purchasing subscriptions for your partners is a straightforward way to back innovation, help reduce the funding burden and shape the future of funding in Aotearoa. And if you’ve ever thought about gifting a months subscription to a cause you care about, stay tuned - we’ll be dropping some options next week.
