Who (& what) is missing out?

Our co-founder Lani Evans MNZM had a korero with Kathryn Ryan on RNZ this morning, about the funding data created by Fundsorter and what it might tell us about the sector.
Most funders are constantly looking at how they can contribute to their communities within the constraints they have. But often they are doing it without high level data to inform their decisions. Our hope is that the resource we've produced will give funders better information about the landscape, spark conversations about what we collectively value, and give advocates like Alison Mau at Tika more tools in the kete.
In the future we'll be able to layer on additional data that will help us see a clearer picture and highlight mismatches between grassroots need, funder intent, and funding delivered.
