Gift a Fundsorter subscription to a charity or cause you care about.
This Christmas, give back twice: buy a Fundsorter subscription for a charity or cause you care about and support a local start up that’s making the funding landscape easier and more equitable (that’s us!). Your gift helps a community organisation try a new tool, explore different approaches to funding, and spend more time on the work that matters. It’s a safe, low-pressure way to support experimentation and help organisations find smarter approaches to funding - and it helps us keep building and evolving Fundsorter to serve communities as effectively as possible.
How it works
Choose an amount to gift: $35 covers the cost of a one-month subscription for a small charity (tier 4), a non-registered group or any incorporated society. $50 covers a small-medium sized charity for one-month. Most charities and community groups in New Zealand fall into one of these two groups, and they’re the organisations we’re focused on supporting. You can also choose to donate a quarterly subscription, or choose your own amount to donate. Whether it’s big or small, we’d be delighted to pass any subscription amount over $5.
Choose who to gift it to: On the payment page you will see a field that says “where should this gift go?”
You have three choices:
If you know the charity or organisation you’d like to give to, you can type their name into the field on the payment page.
If you don’t have a specific charity in mind, but do have a cause/focus area you’d like to support type in a description - eg. climate change, gender equity, youth etc. We’ll find a great organisation to gift your subscription to.
If you’d like to gift a subscription but don’t mind where it goes, leave this space blank and we’ll make sure your gift gets to a wonderful organisation that could use some support - we’ll let you know who it is once the campaign is over.
We’ll take it from there. We’ll get in touch with the organisations and arrange their subscription to begin on 1 February, giving teams time to settle back into the year before jumping in. If your nominated recipient organisation doesn’t activate their donated subscription within 3 months, we’ll find another great charity to pass it along to. We are not able to give refunds on gifted subscriptions and we are not able to provide tax deductable donation receipts for your purchased subscriptions.
